First Balmac Colour Run a huge success!

It was a glorious night  to hold our first ever colour run. Over 200 people came to school on Wednesday August 29th to take part in the community family run/walk while being covered with bright colour powder. Music, laughter, fun and fitness - the night had it all as participants warmed up and enjoyed the antics. 

A huge thank you to our sponsors - Sims and Blue Painting, Murray Turner Decorators, Mitre 10 and Otago Cleaning Services.  

Without their sponsorship we would not have been able to host the event. A number of local businesses also supplied spot prizes - Rhubarb Cafe, Bunnings, Filadelfios, Health 2000 and New World- thank you so much for your support also.  

After the success of the inaugural event, in may be back next year!  Thanks also to Jake Scott for the amazing drone footage of the event.
