Paid union meeting postponed.

Because of the devastating attacks at the Masjid Al Noor Mosque and the Linwood Masjid Mosque in Christchurch on Friday, the NZEI Te Riu Roa National Executive has postponed ALL paid union meetings for primary teachers and principals due to begin nation-wide tomorrow (Monday). 

This is as a mark of respect for the 50 children, men and women who lost their lives in Christchurch on Friday and to ensure schools and ECE services can focus on children and their needs.

Balmacewen Intermediate school will be open for a full day as normal this Wednesday 20th March. We will endeavour to inform our parent community as soon as possible regarding the rescheduled date.
