Year 8 - Screen Printing

Our Year 8's have enjoyed learning about the screen printing process.
Akonga have chosen an image that represents their time at Balmacewen and some have challenged themselves by printing onto a t-shirt. Others have sewn the outcome they have printed on, such as a tote bag or cushion covers.
They have learned the importance of using checklists to follow instructions so that they can minimise mistakes. We understand how positive and negative spacing works and some have explored colour mixing, with great results.
