Term 2 - Exciting Times

Welcome back to Term 2. I hope everyone had a great holiday and is refreshed and ready to go for Term 2. We have lots of exciting things happening over the next few weeks and plenty to look forward to.

Term 2's main focus 'Discovery' is based around Science, and the school Science Fair towards the end of the term will be a big part of this.

This month is May Mega Maths Month, where there is a whole school focus on multiplication and division basic facts. Room 1 will be working hard to increase our class average!

We will also be busy learning Mandarin and Ukulele this term.

Winter sports all begin in the next two weeks so it is important everyone is ready to go with these…keep a close eye on the daily notices! Music lessons will continue as usual.

Planetarium Visit - Monday 23 May

Queens Birthday Holiday - Monday 6 June

Arai Te Uru Marae Visit - Tuesday 7 June

Science Fair Project to be completed by Friday 24 June
