Today Balmacewen were blessed to have legendary sportswoman Suzie Bates come along to school.
Suzie shared her sporting career and highlights with us. She went through her challenges to get to the top and how attending the Olympics in 2008 is a real highlight. Since then her focus has been on cricket and she is a true world wide leader in womens cricket.
She discussed the Olympic values and their similarities to our School values and to stay true to ourselves. To train hard and enjoy the challenges.
Our cricket teams got an opportunity to chat with her a bit more before their finals today.
