Term 3 in Fabrics

It has been a very busy term in the Fabrics room with both Year 7 and Year 8 classes having stayed the whole term and making a wide variety of projects.
Year 7 students have been busy making patched or striped cushions and then they learned a variety of hand-stitching skills before designing and making a contemporary toy or 'softie.'
Year 8 students have made very cool phone cases, some have made pencil cases and fabric houses, others have made drawstring bags and all have learned the screen printing process and made a stencil to screen print onto a t-shirt.
