Dear Parents/Caregivers,
The Balmacewen Intermediate School Swimming Sports will be held on Tuesday 1 April at Moana Pool.
The school swimming sports are split into three categories; competitive, short course and a fun festival for students who are not as confident in water.
Students need to come to school as usual in their CORRECT PE gear (navy shorts, Balmac PE top, sports shoes and socks) on the day. House Colours (but no face or body paint please) are encouraged.
All students will walk to Moana Pool. Students are to sit in the stands in their respective sections when not competing.
After the swimming sports students can be collected from Moana Pool. Please notify your child’s teacher before the day if you will be doing this. Any students not collected from Moana Pool will walk back to Balmacewen Intermediate with teachers.
It is recommended that all students have an extra big packed lunch on the day. They will not be able to use the vending machines at the pool.
Please remind your son/daughter that it may be a good idea to bring an extra towel or t-shirt to put on between races.
Timetable of events below:
Kind Regards,
Janine Southby
