Bandquest 2024

Up against 12 other bands from around Otago, they had to perform two songs within a 6 minute time limit. Each band embraced a totally different style of music and showed off their amazing talents through some Heavy Metal (Microwave Radiation), Indi Country (Silverstrings) and 80s Saxophone Rock (The Red Jerseys).

The standard on the night was very high and it was impressive to see so many quality bands from this age group performing on stage. As a whole, this group of students are very talented and it was a testament to all involved that each band was able to pick up an individual award on the night.

Congratulations to Lucy Bayne for the Star Vocalist Award, Caeli Griffin for Specialist Instrument Award for her Violin playing, Isaac Lloyd for gaining the Outstanding Keyboardist Award and Coop Diehl for the Killer Guitarist Award.
